Rascal runabout, vintage1961 80hp Mercury outboard, home built mahogany speed boat/gentleman’s racer

This is a video showing my Rascal runabout, floating at the dock. She’s a home made wood outboard speed boat (really a gentleman’s racer), planked in mahogany and maple. She’s powered by a restored 1961 80 HP Mercury outboard Full Gear Shift engine. New top speed of 59.5mph GPS with a 24″ pitch chopper prop at 5500rpm (100HP power head installed). Enjoy the view!

Here’s a link to see an on-board video (52+mph) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGVhBw8FdQY

*_I remember way back when, when no one had built a stable boat and talked down to them [Check Details Here==>_**_https://plus.google.com/100351090281822647456/posts/9DB7swbbBri_**_ ].I have built several designs and found them to be well thought out, functional, and efficient with their aid. My thanks to all of you._*
