Tour of a Yamaha 33 Sailboat

In this video, we open all the cupboards and drawers, and show you around our house and studio. We have a Yamaha 33, tall rig, built in 1982 named Pino.

Nice .. Thanks for the tour! How much anchor chain do you have?

Garret Schauteet says:

Pino is from Vancouver? I had no idea! Have a C&C 36 in Heather Civic in False Creek. 🙂

I have a 76 Yamaha 25 MKII. It’s so great to see another Yamaha on a sailing channel. I’m a liveaboard and I love mine!

Shaun Toomey says:

Nice vid. Maybe the dry toilet paper should be moved away from any electrical equipment.

Paul Fox says:

arm tats are unfortunate

NameGoesHere says:

What is the keyboard model at 3:26? That looks sick.

Jeremy Sachs says:

Very nice! But where do you keep all those dope beats?

Kevin Taylor says:

I have a yamaha 33 too … a little different though our yanmar is under the v birth and so are our batteries … water tank is different spot too … everything else is the same

Haro says:

Speaking of Yamahas, I was looking at a 33 as well in North Saanich and was wondering if, after all of your travels, you would recommend one for sailing around Vancouver Island or possibly further south. Thanks

Haro says:

It’s actually a fairly bare bones boat but it does have an electric lewmar windlass (which i believe you wanted to remove on yours) and it has newer windows and the chain plates rebedded. Curious, does the boat tend to broach at all in big seas?http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1981/Yamaha-33-Tall-Rig-2971987/Sidney/Canada#.Wod5f9QrKt8

Gary Podmoroff says:

Nice Yami! I also have a Yamaha 33, ‘SHOGUN’. Very similar except a Yanmar 3GM 30 HP connected to a Sail drive. Incredibly fast and nimble coastal and offshore cruiser located not far from your Sidney location in Mill Bay. Wonderful to see you living my dream.

ukiyo. says:

Nice, was waiting for this one

toknowandgrow says:

Looks like a Monitor wind vane??

jf says:

One day… or maybe, in another life
