2016 Cruisers 60 Cantius: Video Boat Review

The 2016 Cruisers Yachts 60 Cantius is now available, and HMY Yacht Sales brought boats.com Managing Editor John Burnham aboard for a sea trial. Our team spent an entire day testing the 60 Cantius, and shot this video boat review so you could see it inside and out. The 60 Cantius is the new flagship of the Cruisers Yachts fleet of powerboats, and if you’re in the market for a yacht of this size, this is a video you won’t want to miss. How meter ist???

Derek Ortiz says:

I can’t stand cruisers. The name makes it sound like “the Huffy of the sea, or BAYLINER XL in big gaudy chrome”. They rip off all designs (this particular one rips off the fairline targa 62 GT) and cut costs on production to max profits. Do a quality test vs sea ray, formula, cobalt, fairline and sunseeker and you will say, “one of these things is clearly not like the others.” So, to reiterate: I wouldn’t buy a cruisers because they’re unoriginal, ripped off, overpriced and underbuilt AND have a stupid name. Market feedback. You”re welcome.

Vince Mason says:

He said everything is American yet the engine is Volvo….what an idiot, I don’t like Volvo I stick with Mercruiser

lenso010 says:

So he is selling $2.5m boat with that stupid $10 glasses? Try to sell it an Italian.

Manawaduga Chaminda says:

I’ve been studying cutting costs while on cruise trips and discovered a great resource at Arack ship tips (check it out on google)

Ezra Boren says:

If you look into it you can find one like that for less than 300K

Jack Hammer says:

2.5 Million for a 60 footer is IMO excessive. If it was a Nordhaven I wouldn’t question it, but this is NOT a blue water off shore boat. It is however luxurious.

Ezra Boren says:

I wanna boat like that but those are 2 million dollars..

0wen says:

The reviewer sounds like he’s just reading the marketing text. Where’s a neutral critical review? Pandering to boat manufacturers does not make you releavent.

Merv says:

Dear Boats.com, I didn’t enjoy the rapid transitions between shots. It’s a multi million dollar 60′ luxury boat. You could afford to just take a little more time to linger over the features you are describing and let the viewers gain an appreciation of the size and quality of what they are looking at. If I wanted to pause a bunch of times and see a slideshow of a boat. I’d just go look at the brochure.
